India has emerged as a popular destination for international musicians and bands to visit during the year-end music festivals of 2024. With a variety of artistes from different genres coming to India, there is something for everyone this year. Two notable festivals include the Ziro Festival of Music in Ziro Valley, Arunachal Pradesh from September 26-29 and the Magnetic Fields festival at Alsisar Mahal, Rajasthan from December 6-8. The Ziro festival features rock contests, traditional Naga dances, and performances celebrating tribal folklore, showcasing emerging talent and the culture of Northeast India. To reach Ziro, you can fly to Dimapur airport (65 km from Kohima) or take a train to Dimapur railway station (70 km from Kohima). The Magnetic Fields festival promises a cultural experience full of art with a theme of 'Unified Field' in the village of Alsisar, Rajasthan. The lineup for this 10th edition has yet to be released. To get to Alsisar Mahal, you can fly to Delhi or Jaipur airports, with Delhi being 239 km away and Jaipur 217 km away, or take a train to Sadulpur Junction station (53 km from Alsisar Mahal).
